Byeon Yo-han, Ahn Jae-hong and Ha Yoon-kyung’s 〈The Day Without Hands〉 Wraps Filming, Releases First-Look Stills

Heo Jeong’s mystery thriller 〈The Day Without Hands〉 wrapped filming in late July, and production companies Elistar Studio and B.A. Entertainment, along with presenters CGV Pictures and KC Ventures Co., Ltd., released first-look stills on Aug. 11.

〈The Day Without Hands〉 is a mystery thriller that follows Woo-jin, who is preparing to move into a new home on the most auspicious day, after his wife Hee-yeon begins showing strange symptoms. When they meet Tae-ju, a shaman who says Hee-yeon must undergo a spirit-possession rite, the story unfolds over a single day. Director Heo Jeong, known for blending everyday fear with psychological suspense in films such as 〈Hide and Seek〉 and 〈The Mimic〉, is at the helm.

Actor Byeon Yo-han leads the film as Tae-ju, a shaman who is both a disciple of a master shaman and gifted with exceptional abilities. Ahn Jae-hong plays Woo-jin, a pragmatic lawyer who believes only what he can see, and Ha Yoon-kyung co-stars as Hee-yeon, Woo-jin's wife and the focal point of the strange phenomena.

After filming, Byeon Yo-han said, "I felt a sense of challenge as an actor when I read the script. With so many actors and staff giving their all, I hope audiences feel a wide range of emotions and enjoy the film." Ahn Jae-hong praised the set, saying, "I think it will be a tightly made film powered by the entire crew's shared energy, and I'm excited to see the final result." Ha Yoon-kyung added, "I hope many viewers look forward to this exciting story."

The film 〈The Day Without Hands〉 will head into post-production ahead of its release.
