Actor Ryu Hyun-kyung shared her thoughts after JTBC's weekend drama 'Apartment' ended its run on the 16th.

Ryu played Kang Ha-jung, the management office's head accountant, and anchored the drama's suspense. Kang Ha-jung wrestles with inner turmoil amid her devotion to her younger sibling and conflicts tied to a secret ledger. Ryu depicted Ha-jung facing off against the villains and standing by her beliefs as a scam threatened to be exposed, delivering the role with controlled emotion. In the latter part of the series, Ha-jung fulfills her dream of becoming a pastry chef and finds love, completing her self-driven arc.

Through her agency Alien Company, Ryu said, "It was a precious and grateful time to be able to play the character Kang Ha-jung. Ha-jung's journey resonated deeply," adding, "I hope the same feeling reached the viewers." She added, "I thank viewers for their support and affection, and I hope to return with more great projects and performances."

Ryu Hyun-kyung, who debuted in the 1996 drama 'Beef Bone Soup', has appeared across both film and television in numerous works, including the films 'A Praying Man', 'Love', 'No Parking'; the dramas 'Trolley' and 'Casino'; and the Netflix title 'Alone in the Forest'. Recently, she has expanded her activities into directing with her first feature film 'Don't Confess'.
