Love That Crossed Borders, Culminating in a Long-Distance Romance

Actress 'Baek Jin-hee' (36) will marry next year the partner she met while attending a language program in 'Canada'.

Her agency, 'Management AM9', announced in an official statement on the 7th that 'Baek Jin-hee' will hold her wedding ceremony on Jan. 23 next year. Her future husband is an older office worker who lives in 'Canada', the agency confirmed.

The couple met last year, when 'Baek Jin-hee' traveled to 'Canada' to study at a language program. They met in an unfamiliar country and grew closer, maintaining a long-distance relationship for an extended period before deciding to marry, grounded in their deep trust in each other.

After the wedding, 'Baek Jin-hee' plans to build a new lifestyle while traveling between Seoul and 'Canada'. Her agency stressed that she will remain active in many areas, including her acting career and operation of her personal 'YouTube channel'.

'Baek Jin-hee', who made her debut in the 2008 film 'Looking for a Person', made a strong impression on audiences through the 2011 MBC sitcom 'High Kick! The Revenge of the Short Legged'. She went on to build a solid filmography and demonstrate her broad acting range in major productions including 'Pots of Gold', 'Empress Ki', 'My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol', 'Let's Eat 3', 'Missing 9' and 'Judge Lee Han-young'.
