The story of '85 years combined': the entertainment industry's leading male-female friends embark on a 'real travelogue'
tvN officially announced that it will air 'Just Human Friends', a new variety project from the 'Na Young-seok PD' production team, in the fourth quarter of this year. The new show goes beyond a conventional travel program. It is an in-depth reality series in which male-female friends who represent the entertainment industry look back on a combined 'history of friendship' spanning 85 years and engage in candid conversations. Na Young-seok and Shin Geon-jun, both producers with production company 'Egg Is Coming', will co-direct the series and are expected to showcase their signature nuanced and authentic approach.
The cast brings together an unconventional mix spanning multiple generations. First up are actors 'Lee Seo-jin' and 'Han Ji-min,' who have maintained a close relationship for 20 years since appearing in the 2007 national sensation 'Yi San.' Joining them are industry veterans 'Kim Yong-gun' and 'Park Jung-soo,' who have shared 55 years in the business, adding the weight of a lifetime of experience. Also appearing are Monsta X's 'Joo Heon' and TWICE's 'Jeongyeon,' K-pop idol peers who entered the music industry together in 2015 and are expected to showcase the candid, lively 'guy-friend-and-girl-friend' chemistry of millennials and Generation Z.
These three pairs of male-female friends, each with their own generation and story, are expected to reveal without filters the previously unseen 'human connection' behind their relationships under the title 'Just Human Friends.'
