‘Charge Me’ Unveils Poster, Trailer for Kim Young-kwang and Chae Soo-bin’s Jolt-Filled Romance

Netflix original series Charge Me is a romantic comedy about Baek Ho-rang, whose artificial heart has run out of power, and Na Bo-bae, a woman with electrical powers. The unusual relationship between a “human rubber glove” and a “human power bank,” from an accidental kiss to a proposal to move in together, promises a colorful series of developments. Netflix has released the main poster and trailer, heightening viewers’ anticipation for the series’ worldwide exclusive premiere on Oct. 9.

The “romance disguised as a recharge” in 〈Charge Me〉 has kicked viewers’ hearts into gear with its main poster and trailer.

Netflix original series 〈Charge Me〉, a jolt-filled romantic comedy about Baek Ho-rang (Kim Young-kwang), whose artificial heart battery has run out of power, and Na Bo-bae (Chae Soo-bin), who possesses electrical powers, released its main poster and trailer on Sept. 28. The poster features the phrases “human rubber glove” and “human power bank,” clearly and concisely capturing the relationship between the two and stoking curiosity.

The trailer offers a more varied look at the pair’s unpredictable relationship. After the two share an accidental kiss, Na Bo-bae grows curious about Baek Ho-rang, who does not give off a “jolt” or a “thrill.” The trailer then shows her embracing him to recharge his artificial heart, hinting at the arrival of a unique romance. From Baek Ho-rang’s proposal that they move in together to the appearance of top star Ji Eun-ho (Cha Woo-min), the trailer builds anticipation for the romantic world 〈Charge Me〉 will deliver.

〈Charge Me〉 will be available exclusively on Netflix on Oct. 9.
