The mission comedy 〈The Secret of CSAT Question Writing〉, which explores the world of writing questions for the College Scholastic Ability Test, has raised expectations with the release of new stills.
The film 〈The Secret of CSAT Question Writing〉 released 11 press stills on Sept. 28. As its title suggests, the film is a mission comedy set at the headquarters where CSAT questions are written. It follows Maeng Bo-ram, a Korean-language teacher from a small provincial city who unexpectedly joins the team and faces one mishap after another as she works to create “questions without problems” — free of typos and grounds for dispute.
The 11 press stills released that day highlight the actors, each showcasing a distinct appeal, including Lee Sun-bin as Maeng Bo-ram. At the center is Maeng Bo-ram (Lee Sun-bin), a teacher of the MZ generation who voices her opinions among veteran question writers. She is joined by Na Eun-mi (Hwang Bo-ra), a Korean-language professor who lives and dies by fashion; Professor Ye (Jung Soo-young), a French-educated aesthetics professor; Kang Ji-hye (Lee Jin-hee), a veteran question writer who has served on the CSAT committee five times; Park Kyung-tae (Kim Young-min), chair of the CSAT review committee, who reunites with his fated rival, Moon Joo-yeol (Yoo Jae-myung), chair of the Korean-language question-writing committee; Ko Jae-bong (Kim Kyung-min), a philosophy professor who has devoted his life to Kant; Hwang the Poet (Lee Joong-ok), an award-winning New Year's literary contest poet and current teacher; and Ki Joon-soo (Jeon Suk-ho), an assessment institute employee with unmatched social skills. The chemistry among these actors, who consistently command audiences' attention, is set to fill the film.
The mission comedy 〈The Secret of CSAT Question Writing〉, which follows 40 lighthearted days at the question-writing headquarters, opens in theaters nationwide in October.
