Kang Ki-young, Koo Kyo-hwan Become Real-Life Friends in 'The Resurrection Man: The Red'

Actor Kang Ki-young is set to make a standout impression in the film 〈The Resurrection Man: The Red〉, directed by Baek, one day before its release.

〈The Resurrection Man: The Red〉 is an action film about Seok-hwan (Koo Kyo-hwan), a job seeker whose only qualification is baseless confidence. After discovering that he can come back to life 72 hours after dying, Seok-hwan becomes caught up in a mysterious pursuit.

Kang Ki-young plays Young-ha, Seok-hwan's only friend and a down-to-earth office worker hardened by the demands of professional life. Young-ha gives his friend blunt advice, but he also has an uncommon sense of loyalty, risking his life for Seok-hwan at crucial moments. The lively back-and-forth between the cheeky Seok-hwan and the practical Young-ha brings welcome energy even amid the tension of the chase.

Kang Ki-young, who has made his mark as a scene-stealer across television and film in dramas such as 〈Extraordinary Attorney Woo〉 and 〈Oh My Ghost〉, and films including 〈Exit〉 and 〈The Point Men〉, is expected to heighten the story's immersion in this film as well with his trademark wit and grounded comedic performance.
