BLACKPINK's JENNIE makes a distinctive mark on the global pop market
JENNIE of BLACKPINK has made K-pop history by remaining in the upper tier of Billboard's main singles chart for 18 consecutive weeks.
According to Billboard's latest chart, released Tuesday, the single 'Dracula', a collaboration between JENNIE and the acclaimed Australian band Tame Impala, held at No. 5 on the main singles chart, the Hot 100, for a second consecutive week.
The result ties JENNIE's career-best ranking and marks an unprecedented milestone: the longest K-pop artist run in the Top 10. On the same chart, breakout group KATSEYE's 'Animal' fell two spots from the previous week to No. 30, keeping its long-running success alive.

K-pop's presence is also unmistakable on the main albums chart, the 'Billboard 200'. Stray Kids' 'This Is and That' landed at No. 34, demonstrating the strength of the group's global fan base.
BTS' fifth studio album, 'Arirang', followed at No. 40, while the original soundtrack to Netflix's animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters' ranked No. 44, pointing to the limitless reach of K-pop content. ENHYPEN's 'THE SIN: BLISS' came in at No. 196.
Evan, a former member of ENHYPEN who is embarking on a new chapter as a solo artist, made an impressive chart debut with his first mini album, 'Death of Me', which opened at No. 49 in its first week of release.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE demonstrated its rapid rise in the North American market by placing two albums on the chart at the same time, with 'Wild' at No. 33 and 'Beautiful Chaos' at No. 195.
