Fourteen acts bring a diverse range of sounds to the Han River as indie music seeks independence and growth

The '2026 Seoul Indie Music Festa Label Market & Showcase' (hereafter, 'Seoul Indie Music Festa'), offering a comprehensive look at the current state and future of South Korea's indie music scene, is set to open in grand fashion.

The Korea Music Label Industry Association, which is organizing the event, announced Tuesday that it will hold the festival from the 3rd through the 4th at Seoul Battleship Park in Seoul's 'Mangwon Hangang Park'.

The 'Seoul Indie Music Festa' has grown beyond a series of live performances into a full-scale music festival that supports the independence of South Korea's indie ecosystem and enables labels, artists and audiences to connect directly.

This year's lineup features 14 acts. On the first day, the 3rd, 'Aiai', 'Vlla', 'Kim So-yeon', 'Himitsu the Acoustic Duo', 'Fat Hamster & Kangnyu' and 'Kirara' will kick off the festival with their distinctive sounds.

On the 4th, 'Yuri Kim', 'Lee Sang-woong', 'Awol', 'Tejong' and 'Lee Byung-chan' will take the stage, joined by 'Broccoli You Too', widely regarded as a leading name in emotionally driven modern rock, to bring the fall night to its climax.

The festival will also serve as a platform for regional and global musical exchange. Special performances by 'Oa', a musician linked to a regional music creative studio, and 'EKD y Los Changaras', a global exchange act visiting from Japan, will add to the anticipation among music fans.

Alongside the concerts, a 'Label Market' will offer rare physical albums and specially curated merchandise. Limited-edition LPs and CDs, as well as official artist merchandise, will be available, giving attendees plenty to add to their collections.

The Korea Music Label Industry Association said, "We hope visitors will enjoy the distinctive appeal of indie music and its warm culture of solidarity against the backdrop of the cool autumn air along the Han River."
