20 years of rock spirit lights up Nanjang… Return of legends

Korea’s leading downtown music festival, 'Let’s Rock Festival', marks its 20th anniversary this year and will heat up 'Nanjang Han River Park' this coming October alongside top-tier rock bands such as 'Jaurim' and 'Nell'. The event’s organizer, 'RockStar Music & Live', announced in an official release on Oct. 30 that it will hold '2026 Let’s Rock Festival' at 'Nanjang Han River Park' in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on two days from Oct. 3 to 4. Since launching in 2006, the festival has become a byword for autumn music festivals, and for its 20th birthday, it has promised an overwhelming scale.

The first lineup that was unveiled is more than enough to meet the expectations of rock fans. Led by 'Jaurim', a point of pride for Korean modern rock, and 'Nell', a band known for an unmistakable emotional sound, 'Guckkasten', with explosive vocals, and key domestic rock bands such as 'CryingNut' and 'NoBrain' are set to take over the stage in full force.

In particular, this lineup also features 'Nothing But Thieves', an alternative rock band from the U.K. with a worldwide fanbase, proving its stature as a global festival. The organizers said, "We plan to sequentially reveal an additional list of artists to carry forward the momentum from the first lineup," adding, "We’re also preparing a once-in-a-generation special stage befitting the 20th anniversary," raising expectations among fans.
