'Khruangbin · Silica Gel Soar' 28-Team Lineup for the 2026 Pentaport Festival (Phase 1) Revealed

‘2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival,’ one of the largest music festivals in Korea, has officially revealed its Phase 1 lineup, set to heat up the summer.

On the 8th, the organizers announced the full roster of 28 teams—from overseas artists active on the global stage to top-tier domestic bands—capturing widespread public attention.

The name drawing the most attention is, without a doubt, Khruangbin. This three-piece band from Houston, Texas, in the U.S., has built a worldwide fanbase since forming in 2010 with a signature sound that moves seamlessly across punk, soul, and psychedelic rock.

The domestic lineup is just as impressive. In addition to Silica Gel, known for its distinctive musical world that has captivated both audiences and critics, The Volunteers, and Jang Pil-soon, the doyenne of Korean folk rock, are also set to take the stage for a vibrant mix of genres.

There is also great anticipation for the in-person arrival of overseas powerhouse bands. A New York brother duo, The Lemon Twigs, which reinterprets 1960s–1970s pop and rock sounds with a modern sensibility, and Never Young Beach, representing Japan’s indie music scene, will join the Pentaport stage to add even more energy to the festival.

Meanwhile, the '2026 Pentaport Rock Festival' eagerly awaited by rock fans around the world will be held in grand style at Incheon Songdo Dalbit Festival Park for three days from July 31 to August 2.
