ENA's 'A Different Kind of War History' premieres on 23rd, bringing history's reversals to life with AI

AI meets experts in a first-of-its-kind history talk show

ENA and MBN's new variety show 'A Different Kind of War History' will premiere on the 23rd. The hybrid talk show takes an in-depth look, alongside experts in various fields, at the course of 'decisive battles' that changed the fate of humanity.

The show's most notable innovation lies in how it was produced. By fully embracing cutting-edge 'generative artificial intelligence (AI)' technology, it brings the fiercest moments from battlefields throughout history back to life with vivid, spectacular visuals. Going beyond simply presenting historical records, the program maximizes visual immersion and opens a new chapter for history programming.

Broadcaster Jung Hyung-don and Kwak Min-soo, director of the Korea Institute of Egyptology and widely known as 'Egypt Min-soo', have been chosen as the show's main hosts. Their combination of broad appeal and expertise is expected to make the potentially weighty subject of military history engaging and compelling.
