Donates 100 million won to the Korean Committee for UNICEF to help children in crisis

According to the Korean Committee for UNICEF on the 2nd, PLAVE donated 100 million won to support children whose survival and development are threatened by conflict, disasters, poverty and other crises. The group signed a social contribution agreement with the Korean Committee for UNICEF last August and has since taken part in efforts to promote the healthy development and rights of children worldwide. This latest donation further extends its positive influence.

Healing message that bridges virtual and real worlds…to deliver keynote address at The Children’s Festa

Following its donation, PLAVE will deliver a keynote address at The Children’s Festa, hosted by the Korean Committee for UNICEF, on the 20th, ahead of World Children’s Day. Drawing on the group’s work across the boundaries of virtual and real worlds, the members will offer a message of comfort on the topic of “children’s mental health in the digital environment.” PLAVE said, “We hope every child can discover their own potential and envision their future in a safe environment,” adding, “We will continue to stand with children so they can speak up and help build a better tomorrow.”

Beyond million-seller status, reaches No. 31 on the U.S. Billboard 200 for a career high

Alongside its charitable work, PLAVE is also making a major impact in its music career. The group made K-pop history as the first virtual idol group to surpass 1 million copies in first-week sales—the week following an album’s release—and recently set a new personal best on a major U.S. Billboard chart. Its new fifth mini album, 'HYPERDRIVE,' debuted at No. 31 on the Billboard 200, climbing 114 spots from its previous release. Led by the title track 'Star Trace,' the group also topped the World Albums and Emerging Artists charts, demonstrating its explosive global growth.
