52nd Seoul Independent Film Festival sets record with 1,917 entries, announces 10-day celebration

The 2026 Seoul Independent Film Festival, now in its 52nd year, received 1,917 entries, the most in its history. Submissions rose 6.2% from the previous year, including 1,715 shorts and 202 features, underscoring the strength of independent filmmaking.
