〈The Assassins〉, which has drawn early attention for director Hur Jin-ho’s meticulous direction and the powerhouse performances of leading South Korean actors including Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il and Lee Min-ho, has announced a Sept. 23 release and is taking aim at theaters during the Chuseok holiday.

The Assassins, which has maintained its strong box-office momentum into its second week, has once again taken the top spot among Korean films at the box office and in advance-ticket sales, firmly holding its position as the leading draw in theaters.
