Someone is Spreading Illegal Guns… Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang's Main Trailer Released

A thriller capturing the chaos of gun incidents in South Korea

Netflix original series <Trigger> has released its main trailer.

Set to premiere on July 25, <Trigger> is a thriller drama starring Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang, depicting a landscape of South Korea where illegal guns are delivered and gun incidents occur one after another. Based on a script written by director Kwon Oh-seung, who presented <Midnight>, it is co-directed by Kwon Oh-seung and director Kim Jae-hoon, known for <The Devil> and <Desperate Chase>.

The main trailer for <Trigger> released on July 10 features scenes of people caught in chaos as numerous guns are delivered, and Lee Do (Kim Nam-gil) unexpectedly accompanies the mysterious man Moon Baek (Kim Young-kwang) in an attempt to stop it. Moon Baek confesses that he is related to the delivery that is at the core of the incident, creating a significant atmosphere, but soon tells Lee Do, "We are a team now," forming a partnership with him. Lee Do is suspicious but tries to solve the case with Moon Baek's help.

Additionally, the main poster released on the same day shows Lee Do's face reflected in a gun held by someone, hinting at the chaos caused by the incident in the gun-clean country of South Korea.
