A new action thriller series from Netflix, set against the backdrop of illegal firearms being delivered in South Korea, where gun possession is strictly prohibited, is set to meet viewers at the end of this month.

On the 10th, Netflix announced that the new series <Trigger>, starring Kim Nam-gil and Kim Young-kwang, will be released on the 25th. According to the production company, <Trigger> depicts a story that stimulates the 'trigger' within people in a chaotic world where safety devices have been removed.

The trailer released on that day features scenes of illegal firearms being delivered to various locations across South Korea, with unknown sources. The video shows a series of shooting incidents occurring, spreading anxiety throughout society. Additionally, it depicts scenes where packages are delivered one by one to those who want firearms, involving large sums of money in the process.

At the center of the drama are Kim Nam-gil as police officer Lee Do and Kim Young-kwang as the mysterious man Moon Baek. The two characters track the truth behind a series of shooting incidents and approach the reality of the complex case.

<Trigger> is produced by the film company Bidangil, with directors Kwon Oh-seung and Kim Jae-hoon co-directing.
