What if a secret that no one should know is publicly revealed? Wave original <S Line> is a work that captures various incidents that occur as the red line, known as the S Line, begins to appear between people who have sexual relationships. This series, adapted from the popular webtoon by the author of 'Murderer is Awkward', has been loved for its provocative questions and in-depth exploration of social issues created by the S Line since its serialization. Director Ahn Joo-young of <Bohee and Nokyang> has captured the 'crossing the line' story on video.

<S Line> brings the core setting of the webtoon but feels more powerful in its original story for the drama. The people who can see the S Line are limited, and it interestingly unravels the deadly secrets shared discreetly through glasses. In this process, love affairs, infidelity, and even murder occur, reflecting on the chaotic human relationships. Lee Soo-hyuk plays the detective Ji-wook investigating the secret of the S Line, while Lee Da-hee plays the homeroom teacher Kyu-jin of a student involved in a tragic incident due to the S Line. Additionally, Arin from 'Oh My Girl' plays a student who can see the S Line from birth, adding depth to the situation in the drama. With a provocative concept, <S Line> will unfold meaningful questions about social issues and relationships, and will be released on Wave on July 11.

The recent trend in Korean films is the remake of Taiwanese romance films. Films like <Secret> and <The Secret That Cannot Be Told> have been well-received by adapting them into a Korean context. It would be disappointing if this film did not follow that trend. The Taiwanese film we loved back then, <You Are the Apple of My Eye>, has also returned as a remake. It comically and heart-flutteringly captures the stories of that time, including Jin-woo, who had a crush on the model student Seon-a.

Twice's Da-hyun draws attention as the protagonist Seon-a. This is her first film debut, and throughout the story, she showcases her pure charm, capturing the hearts of both the audience of that time and the current viewers. Jin Young plays Jin-woo, who likes Seon-a, effectively portraying the memories of first love during school days. The chemistry between the two, oscillating between friendship and love, brings both laughter and bittersweet nostalgia, beautifully recreating a moment from 'Reply 2000'. For those who have seen the original film, it will evoke memories of that time, and for those who are unfamiliar with the original, it will be a delightful romantic comedy that makes viewers feel good throughout.
