Actress Uhm Jung-hwa returns in the role of a top star who has lost all memories of 25 years and is now facing a career break.
Genie TV announced on the 16th that the original drama <My Troublesome Star> starring Uhm Jung-hwa will premiere on August 18 at 10 PM. This work is a romantic comedy drama that unfolds as the once-popular top star Bong Cheong-ja (played by Uhm Jung-hwa) suddenly starts living the life of an ordinary middle-aged woman.
In the drama, Cheong-ja forms new connections with the help of the demoted traffic police officer Dokgo Cheol (played by Song Seung-heon). The chemistry between Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Seung-heon is reuniting after 10 years since the 2014 film <Miss Wife>.

The trailer released that day drew attention as actress Jang Da-ah, who is the real sister of IVE member Jang Won-young, appeared in the role of Cheong-ja during her prime.
The direction is handled by Choi Young-hoon, the director of <Good Casting>, and the script is written by Park Ji-ha, the writer of <The Day and Night Are Different for Her>.
