Park Chan-wook's New Film 'No Way Out' to Be Released in September... Starring Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin

Park Chan-wook's new film 〈No Way Out〉 will meet domestic audiences this September. Distributor CJ ENM announced that the film is confirmed for release on the 22nd in South Korea.

〈No Way Out〉 deals with the events that unfold as an ordinary office worker, Mansoo, faces sudden unemployment and seeks re-employment to protect his wife and two children. In particular, it is based on the novel 「The Ax」 by American author Donald Westlake.

This film is Park Chan-wook's first feature film in about three years since 〈Decision to Leave〉 in 2022. Director Park has mentioned that this film is "the work he wanted to make the most."

Actor Lee Byung-hun plays the lead role of Mansoo, while Son Ye-jin is cast as his wife, Miri, creating a strong acting synergy. Additionally, top domestic actors such as Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, and Cha Seung-won are expected to enhance the film's quality.

CJ ENM has released the first poster and teaser video along with the announcement of the film's confirmed release.
