Former martial artist and broadcaster Choo Sung-hoon stated that he did his best in a new variety show where he challenges extreme jobs in overseas travel destinations and finances his own travel expenses.

At the production presentation of the EBS·ENA co-produced variety show 〈Choo Sung-hoon's Worth of Food〉 held on the 23rd at the IFC in Yeouido, Seoul, Choo Sung-hoon expressed his confidence by saying, "Skills? I think I showed 100% of my abilities."

This program is a reality variety show where Choo Sung-hoon challenges difficult jobs in overseas travel destinations with the operator of the travel YouTube channel 'GwakTube', Gwak Jun-bin, and comedian Lee Eun-ji, earning money to cover travel expenses. Gwak Jun-bin is in charge of managing travel expenses, while Lee Eun-ji serves as the entertainment leader and local restaurant guide.

Regarding his participation, Choo Sung-hoon explained, "Even though I have stamina, there are things that can't be done with just stamina, and I wanted to challenge myself because I don't know what will happen when I go abroad." He also added, "This is my first time working with these two people, and I was curious about what kind of chemistry would come out when people who don't usually appear together work together."

He continued, "Honestly, at first we didn't match well, but as time went on, we got along better, so I hope you find that process entertaining." He reflected, "At the beginning of the shoot, I told the PD, 'It's burdensome to do a program with my name on it, and I don't know what I should do,' but I think I was able to manage somehow because I had these two (Gwak Jun-bin, Lee Eun-ji) with me."

Gwak Jun-bin stated, "I have traveled a lot, but experiencing jobs locally is not an easy experience," and expressed confidence that "since we experienced jobs together, the travel felt more realistic and the show will be fun."

Lee Eun-ji shared her motivation for participating, saying, "This program is about survival travel, and I was drawn to that aspect, which is why I decided to join. As time goes on, you will see the participants getting closer, and I think you will empathize with that."

In the program, the three participants take on difficult jobs in various countries, such as herbalists on Baekdu Mountain and merchants on the Nile River in Egypt, showing the process of earning money and solving their meals through their efforts.

Director Song Jun-seop explained the production intention, saying, "The phrase 'to pay for food' also means to do one's part," and emphasized that it is not just a travel program but one that considers how participants can engage sincerely.

Co-director Ahn Je-min emphasized, "Please pay attention to the fact that this is a travel variety show where participants earn money themselves rather than traveling with someone else's money."

〈Choo Sung-hoon's Worth of Food〉 will be broadcast simultaneously on EBS and ENA every Saturday at 7:50 PM starting this month on the 26th.
