As a member of the group ASTRO and an actor, Cha Eun-woo has enlisted, and his agency, Fantagio, has officially requested fans to refrain from sending fan letters and gifts to the military base.

On the 29th, Fantagio announced through the fan cafe, "Thanks to the many supports from AROHA, Cha Eun-woo safely entered the training center on the 28th," and stated, "We would like to convey one request regarding this matter."

The agency explained, "We understand the feelings of AROHA who want to send supportive messages to Cha Eun-woo, but it is difficult to manage a large volume of letters or mail at the military base," and requested, "Please refrain from sending letters and mail."

They specifically warned that there may be unavoidable measures if issues arise due to gifts. They stated, "If there are cases where gift delivery interferes with military life, please note that penalties may be imposed at our discretion," and specified, "All gifts delivered to military bases and military-related locations will be disposed of."

Instead, the agency suggested an alternative to fans. They requested, "Please send any letters and mail you wish to convey to Cha Eun-woo to the company as much as possible," and promised, "We will do our best in various ways for Cha Eun-woo's smooth service."

Cha Eun-woo is currently undergoing basic military training at the Army Training Center and is expected to fulfill his defense duties in the Army Military Band. His expected discharge date is January 27, 2027, with about 1 year and 6 months of military service ahead.
