The released stills from episodes 6-7 center around the turmoil of emotions and conspiracies surrounding the treasure, foreshadowing a pivotal event that shakes the trust among the characters. First, the sight of Beolgu (Jung Yun-ho) losing consciousness stirs curiosity about the ending of episode 5, drawing attention to the crisis that unfolds among the villagers. Next, the scene where Chairman Cheon (Jang Kwang) asks Yang Jeong-sook (Im Soo-jung), "What happened to the dishes?" captures the tense psychological battle between the two characters who hide their true intentions, creating a sense of suspense. The urgent movements of Seon-ja (Kim Min) as she frantically searches for a ship to Jin-do hint at the emergence of unexpected variables. Furthermore, the secret conversation between Oh Kwan-seok (Ryu Seung-ryong) and CEO Song (Kim Jong-soo) shows signs of another conspiracy and betrayal surrounding the treasure hunt, amplifying curiosity about the emotional turmoil that will unfold as 'Yang Jeong-sook' appears with tears in her eyes.

Director Kang Yoon-sung stated, "Once we pass the midpoint of the story, scenes will begin to emerge where we dive underwater to excavate the treasure. I would appreciate it if you could pay attention to the underwater situations that have not been widely revealed in Korean works yet," raising expectations as episodes 6-7 will bring forth the intertwined desires and betrayals among the characters, along with the tension caused by unexpected variables.

As of July 29, 〈Pine: The Villagers〉 has maintained its strong box office performance, ranking #1 for 11 consecutive days in the overall Disney+ Korean content rankings on FlixPatrol, a global OTT platform content viewing ranking site. The number of participants in the real-time communication platform 'Naver Open Talk' related to the work has reached approximately 620,000, recording remarkable figures in both popularity and word-of-mouth. With the release of episodes 6-7 marking a significant turning point in the story, the box office momentum for 〈Pine: The Villagers〉 is expected to intensify. Following this, two episodes will be released on August 6 (Wednesday) and two more on August 13 (Wednesday), totaling 11 episodes available for viewing.
