The musical 'Death Note' is returning to the stage after a two-year hiatus.

Production company Odi Company announced on the 18th that the musical 'Death Note' will hold preview performances for a week starting from October 14, before officially opening on the 21st. The performances are set to continue at the D Cube Art Center until May 10 of next year, lasting approximately seven months.

'Death Note' is a musical adaptation of the manga of the same name created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. Centered around the supernatural notebook 'Death Note', which allows its user to kill anyone by writing their name, it depicts the intense battle of wits between genius high school student Light and the world-renowned detective L, who is pursuing him in order to realize his own sense of justice.

In this performance, the lead role of Light will be played by Jo Hyung-kyun. Kim Min-seok from the group Melomance and Lim Kyuhyung, who gained attention for his role in the musical 'Dear Evan Hansen', will also alternate in the same role. The role of L has been cast with Kim Sung-kyu from the group Infinite, Sandul from B1A4, and actor Tang Jun-sang.

Additionally, actors Lee Young-mi, Jang Eun-ah, Yang Seung-ri, Lim Jung-mo, Choi Seo-yeon, and K will also appear.
