K-Demon’s ‘HUNTR/X’ can now be tasted in real ramen.

On the morning of the 20th, Nongshim announced that it will begin full communication with global fans through various characters and worldviews of the globally popular animation 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 (K-Pop Demon Hunters) in collaboration with Netflix.

As the first step of the collaboration, starting from the end of August, Nongshim will introduce collaboration products featuring characters from 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉, such as ‘HUNTR/X’ (HUNTR/X)’s ‘Rumi’, ‘Mira’, ‘Joy’, and ‘Lion Boys’ (Lion Boys), and the tiger ‘Derpy’ on the domestic and international packages of Shin Ramyeon, Shrimp Chips, and the new sauce product ‘Shin Ramyeon Tumba All-Purpose Sauce’ (scheduled for release at the end of August). The collaboration products will be limited to major countries in Korea, North America, Europe, Oceania, and Southeast Asia.

Additionally, a special product reflecting the design of the cup ramen that Rumi, Mira, and Joy actually ate in the show will be released in limited quantities, and various collaboration marketing will be conducted through various SNS events, digital content, and offline pop-ups to communicate with global fans.

〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 has been creating a global fandom since its release on Netflix in June, as it realistically depicts various aspects of Korean culture, such as K-Pop and K-Food. In particular, the ramen and snacks eaten by 'HUNTR/X' in the movie have been repeatedly exposed, leading domestic fans to associate the ramen and snacks featured in the animation with the Nongshim brand. Fans pointed out that the ramen and snacks appearing in the animation are Nongshim products based on the similarities in pronunciation with Nongshim, such as ‘Shin Ramyeon’ (辛) and ‘Shin Ramyeon’ (神), and snacks resembling the shape of Shrimp Chips.

A Nongshim representative stated, “Thanks to consumers who voluntarily discovered Nongshim within 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 and shared it joyfully, this collaboration was made possible,” and added, “Just as 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 has introduced K-Culture to the world, Nongshim will also sincerely convey the taste and value of K-Ramen and K-Snacks to global consumers together with 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉.”
