Kim Woo-bin and Suzy Star in 'Genie, Make A Wish' Coming to Netflix in October!

Actors Kim Woo-bin and Suzy will meet as a spirit in a magic lamp and its master in a new fantasy romantic comedy series coming to viewers this October.

On the 21st, Netflix announced that it will release 〈Genie, Make A Wish〉 starring Kim Woo-bin and Suzy on October 3rd. This work depicts a special story about a spirit of a lamp awakened after a thousand years meeting its new master.

Kim Woo-bin plays the role of the lamp's spirit, Genie, who has awakened from a long slumber, showcasing a character that is oblivious to the ways of the world. Meanwhile, Suzy portrays the character Ga-young, who becomes the new master of the lamp, depicting a girl lacking in emotional expression.

The work contains an exciting story centered around three wishes between two characters from different backgrounds. The conflicts and changes that arise when the world-ignorant Genie meets the emotionally inept Ga-young are expected to be the main points of interest.

This work is written by Kim Eun-sook, who has received great love for works such as 〈Mr. Sunshine〉 and 〈Lovers in Paris〉.
