〈Blue Eye Samurai〉 has released the Season 2 trailer and has officially announced the production.

The Netflix original 〈Blue Eye Samurai〉 tells the story of Miz, who struggles to live in a society that has branded her as a mixed-race individual, learning swordsmanship to seek revenge. It drew attention with its emotional character portrayal rather than the typical samurai code, featuring intense and unrestrained action scenes. After its release in November 2023, Netflix announced the production of Season 2 in December.

On August 22, 2025 (Korean time), Netflix announced that the production of Season 2 is progressing smoothly by posting a video titled 'Blue Eye Samurai: Season 2 | Official Start of Production | Netflix' on its official YouTube channel. The approximately 3-minute video includes interviews with writers Michael Green and Amber Noizumi, director Jane Wu, the production process of Season 1, and a short clip from Season 2, raising expectations for the upcoming season.
