Stray Kids' 4th Studio Album 'KARMA' Achieves Double Million Seller in Just One Day!

K-pop group Stray Kids set a record for double million seller on the first day of release with their 4th studio album 'KARMA'.

The agency JYP Entertainment announced on the 25th that 'KARMA' recorded sales exceeding 2 million copies based on the Hanteo Chart on the release date of the 22nd. This is interpreted as an indicator of the group's growth, being their first studio album in 2 years and 2 months since their 3rd album '★★★★★' (Five Star).

The new album 'KARMA' achieved the feat of topping major domestic and international charts simultaneously. It ranked 1st on both the Hanteo Chart's weekly physical album chart (18th to 24th) and the Circle Chart's weekly retail album chart (17th to 23rd). Internationally, it topped the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart and the European Album Chart for three consecutive days from the 22nd to the 24th, and also reached 1st place on iTunes album charts in Japan, France, Australia, and more.

Additionally, on the global music platform Spotify, 'KARMA' achieved over 18.26 million streams on its release day. The title track 'CEREMONY' entered the 'Daily Top Song Chart Global' at 27th place with over 2.52 million streams on the day of release.

It is reported that the members conveyed a narrative of growth in this album, having forged their own path without being swayed by external views or internal conflicts. Stray Kids will additionally release a remix digital single 'Maximum Power Remixes' on the 25th at 1 PM.
