Kim Gun-mo Returns to the Music Scene with Nationwide Tour After 6 Years

Singer Kim Gun-mo announced on the 26th that he will return to the music scene through a nationwide tour concert, breaking a 6-year hiatus.

The production company Ice Star Media Company stated that Kim Gun-mo will hold a nationwide tour titled 'Kim Gun-mo.' (KIM GUN MO.) starting with a performance at Busan KBS Hall on the 27th of next month, followed by stops in Daegu, Daejeon, Seoul, and more.

This marks Kim Gun-mo's first official activity since being embroiled in sexual assault allegations in 2019, after a 6-year break.

Having gained popularity with numerous hit songs such as 'Excuse' and 'Wrong Meeting', Kim Gun-mo halted all activities after the allegations were raised in 2019. He had also gained significant popularity through his appearances on entertainment programs, but he completely disappeared from the entertainment industry following the allegations.

However, in 2021, he was cleared of legal allegations by the prosecution. After an additional 3-year hiatus, he is now set to resume full activities through this nationwide tour.

The production company stated, "Although Kim Gun-mo has been away from the stage, he has not let go of music for even a moment, according to those close to him," adding, "His music did not stop even during the hiatus."

This nationwide tour will kick off with the Busan performance, followed by Daegu on October 18, Daejeon on December 20, and concluding with a performance in Seoul in January next year. Specific performance schedules and ticket sales information will be announced later.
