The Netflix film Mantis has released a trailer and announced its release date.

The Netflix original Mantis is a spin-off of the 2023 film Kill Bok-soon, depicting the story of a killer mantis who returns from a long vacation to compete with rivals for the top spot. The original director, Byun Sung-hyun, participated in the screenplay, and it marks the directorial debut of Lee Tae-sung, who has worked on films like The King and The Outlaws.

The trailer features Im Si-wan as 'Mantis' Han-wool, alongside Park Gyu-young, who plays his trainee rival Jae-i, and Jo Woo-jin as the retired legend killer Dok-go, hinting at an intense acting showdown. Additionally, it showcases action scenes that are just as shocking as the previous work, giving a glimpse of the unique action sensibility of Mantis.

Mantis announced that it will be released on Netflix on September 26, along with this teaser poster and trailer.
