Song Da-eun stirred controversy by revealing a private video with Jimin.

On August 27, actress Song Da-eun posted a video on her SNS account. In the video, she appears to be busy leaving her house to greet someone, waiting in front of the elevator, when the elevator doors open, capturing BTS member Jimin stepping out. Jimin, seeing Song Da-eun, says, "Did you know I came in? I came without saying on purpose."

The video has been deleted but spread across various platforms. Song Da-eun was also embroiled in dating rumors with Jimin in 2022, but neither side has made a clear statement regarding the rumors. However, due to these dating rumors, Song Da-eun has suffered from cyberbullying multiple times, and during a live session in June 2025, she expressed her mental struggles, saying, "Just because the idol you like loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be cursed at. I didn’t even flirt first."

Ultimately, speculation is growing that Song Da-eun posted the video to put an end to the dating rumors due to excessive hate comments and bullying from the fandom. Currently, neither Song Da-eun nor Jimin's side has commented on the video or the dating rumors.
