
The script reading scene of SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 〈Would You Marry Me〉 has been revealed for the first time.
The new Friday-Saturday drama 〈Would You Marry Me〉, which will premiere in October, is a sweet yet fierce 90-day fake newlywed life of two men and women trying to win a luxurious newlywed house as a prize, raising expectations as actors Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min showcase their romantic synergy.
On the 2nd, SBS revealed the script reading scene of 〈Would You Marry Me〉 for the first time. At the script reading, Choi Woo-shik, who plays Kim Woo-joo, the 4th generation heir of Korea's first bakery 'Myeongsundang', said, "I hope we can finish filming happily until the end. I will work hard," while Jung So-min, who plays Yumeri, a designer who proposes a fake marriage to Kim Woo-joo to secure the luxurious newlywed house, expressed her wish, saying, "I hope no one gets hurt and we can finish safely until the end."
In 〈Would You Marry Me〉, Choi Woo-shik and Jung So-min portray the strategic alliance between Woo-joo and Meri over the newlywed house prize with their witty acting chemistry. Additionally, the cast includes Baek Na-ra as Baek Sang-hyun, the department store executive watching over Woo-joo and Meri, Shin Seul-ki as Yoon Jin-kyung, Woo-joo's soulmate and a family medicine specialist, Seo Beom-jun as another Kim Woo-joo, who is Meri's ex-fiancé and shares the same name as Kim Woo-joo, Jeong Ae-ri as Go Pil-nyeon, Woo-joo's grandmother and the president of Myeongsundang, Kim Young-min as Jang Han-goo, Woo-joo's uncle and a director at Myeongsundang, Baek Ji-won as Kim Mi-yeon, Woo-joo's aunt, and Yoon Bok-in as Oh Young-sook, Meri's mother, showcasing the actors' performances that bring both fun and weight to the drama.
Meanwhile, 〈Would You Marry Me〉 is set to premiere on SBS in October.
