Singer Im Jae-bum officially announced on the 2nd that he will release his regular 8th album to celebrate his 40th debut anniversary.
Ahead of the release of the regular 8th album, Im Jae-bum is set to pre-release two songs, 'The Time You Come' and 'Greeting', on the 17th. These pre-released songs are new tracks presented for the first time in about three years since the release of his regular 7th album 'Seven Comma' in 2022.
The agency stated, "This album will confirm the unchanged presence and deep musical world of a master built over the years of his 40th debut anniversary, while continuing the resonance of the previous work."
'The Time You Come' and 'Greeting' are known to be works that express Im Jae-bum's unique emotions through various angles of storytelling. The song production involved producer Park Gi-deok, who has collaborated with Im Jae-bum for a long time, and the producer team Mad Soul Child's 14o2, who composed his hit song 'Love'.
Im Jae-bum has been communicating with fans by releasing videos of the studio photo shoot on his official YouTube channel.
Debuting in 1986 with the first album of the band Sinawe, Im Jae-bum has left a unique mark on the Korean popular music scene with his powerful and explosive vocal ability. Through numerous hit songs such as 'For You', 'Emergency', 'Confession', and 'Deeper Than Love', he has established himself as one of the top vocalists in the country.
To commemorate his 40th debut anniversary, Im Jae-bum is set to hold a nationwide tour concert titled 'I Am Im Jae-bum' starting in Daegu on November 29, followed by major cities including Incheon and Seoul.
