Actor Yoo Ji-tae will appear in a Hollywood film.

According to The Hollywood Reporter on the morning of the 8th (local time), actor Yoo Ji-tae has joined the cast of an untitled K-Pop related film co-produced by Paramount Pictures and HYBE America. The film tells the story of a Korean-American woman who challenges an audition program to become the next generation K-Pop girl group despite her family's opposition.

The film features not only actor Yoo Ji-tae but also Tony Revolori from the 〈Spider-Man〉 series, Kim Ji-ah from the Netflix film 〈XO, Kitty〉, singer Eric Nam, and Yoo Ji-young, who voiced 'Joy' in 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉.

Director Benson Lee stated, "This film is my homage to K-Pop and captures the brightness, passion, charm, and the power of the community that K-Pop embodies." The film is set to be the first major Hollywood studio production entirely filmed in South Korea.

The film is scheduled to begin production with a goal of a theatrical release in 2027.
