Kentaro Sakaguchi has canceled all schedules for the Busan International Film Festival.

Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi was scheduled to visit the 30th Busan International Film Festival, which opens on September 17, to introduce various events. However, on September 9, local media reported on his cohabitation with a girlfriend and a love triangle with former partner Mei Nagano, leading to ongoing personal life controversies.

Following the controversy, Sakaguchi's team changed the interview schedule for the Busan International Film Festival to a press conference. However, on September 15, the press conference was also canceled. They stated that only the media events were canceled, and that stage greetings and GV events with fans would proceed as planned.

Kentaro Sakaguchi will attend the Busan International Film Festival with the work 〈The Final Piece〉. This work tells the story of two detectives chasing the truth behind a discovered corpse and a shogi piece made by a master craftsman.
