
Actor Oh Woo-ri is taking on the occult horror genre with the movie 'Gokdu'.
The agency Saram Entertainment announced, "Oh Woo-ri has been cast in the movie 'Gokdu'." The film 'Gokdu', chosen by Oh Woo-ri, tells the story of the traditional doll Gokdu, which was created to comfort souls, being discovered at a brutal crime scene, leading to a series of suicide incidents that uncover the world of Gokdu. Based on traditional Korean themes, the horror film 'Gokdu' is gaining early interest as a work that will continue the legacy of K-occult.
Oh Woo-ri plays the role of 'Seon-nuri' in the film. Seon-nuri is a courageous character who discovers and dives into the world of Gokdu. Oh Woo-ri is expected to represent the younger generation that must atone for the mistakes of the previous generation while understanding the world of Gokdu as the title role.
Looking at Oh Woo-ri's recent activities, they are quite impressive.
