Receiving overwhelming acclaim for the return of the 'Primordial Yeoniverse', the film 〈Face〉 is invigorating the theater scene by recording No. 1 at the Korean box office on its opening weekend. 〈Face〉 is a film that tells the story of 'Im Young-kyu', who has become a master in the field of engraving despite being unable to see, and his son 'Im Dong-hwan' as they uncover the mystery of their mother's death that has been buried for 40 years. Since its release on September 11, 〈Face〉 has been receiving explosive reactions and is currently cruising at the box office, having recorded No. 1 at the Korean box office on its opening weekend.

According to the Korean Film Council Integrated Computer Network, the film 〈Face〉 attracted 281,925 viewers in its opening weekend alone, recording a cumulative audience of 317,243, thus ranking No. 1 at the Korean box office. This is drawing attention as it showcases a sharp thematic consciousness reminiscent of director Yeon Sang-ho's early works, solid direction supporting it, a dual mystery surrounding the character 'Jung Young-hee', and the outstanding performances of the 'faces' representing Korean cinema: Park Jung-min, Kwon Hae-hyo, Shin Hyun-bin, Lim Sung-jae, and Han Ji-hyun, along with a well-made production created by veteran staff that has proven its box office potential. The CGV Egg Index is also recording a high figure of 94%, confirming the high satisfaction of actual viewers.
