Singer Kim Jong-kook will hold a commemorative concert 'The Originals' on the 18th and 19th of next month at the Blue Square S.O.L Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, as announced by the organizing company Bright Nuri on the 16th.

This performance will be a special stage encompassing Kim Jong-kook's 30-year music journey. He is expected to showcase a wide repertoire from his hit songs during his time with the group Turbo in 1995 to his representative songs as a solo artist.

Kim Jong-kook expressed, "Thanks to the fans who have been with me for such a long time over the past 30 years, I am who I am today," and added, "This concert will be a festive stage created together with my fans."

The two-day performance in Seoul has recorded a complete sell-out. The organizing company stated that they are considering additional performances in other regions for fans who could not obtain tickets.

Kim Jong-kook debuted as a member of the group Turbo in 1995 and gained great love with hit songs such as 'Black Cat Nero', 'Love Is...', 'Recollection', 'White Love', and 'Twist King'.

After transitioning to a solo artist in 2001, he released representative songs such as 'One Man', 'Staying in Place', and 'Lovely'. In particular, he reached the peak of his career by sweeping the year-end broadcasting music awards with his third solo album released in 2005, which included 'Lovely'.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook held a wedding ceremony with the woman he was dating on the 5th of this month.
