The animated film 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 has set a new milestone by surpassing 300 million views, the first in Netflix history.

According to Netflix's official site 'Tudum' on the 17th, 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 has recorded a total of 314.2 million views. This is the highest figure across all films and series since Netflix began its service. The view count is calculated by dividing the total viewing time by the runtime of the work.

After achieving the number one spot on Netflix two weeks ago, this work has consistently widened the gap with the second place 〈Squid Game Season 1〉 (265.2 million views). Netflix aggregates the most popular content based on cumulative views over a 91-day period after release.

〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 has entered the top 10 in the English film category for 13 consecutive weeks since its release, and last week (8-14) it maintained the number one spot with 22.6 million views. Regionally, it has ranked first in 39 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Argentina, Egypt, Malaysia, and Qatar.

This work tells the story of the K-Pop idol group HuntRix saving the world by battling evil spirits. The popularity of the original soundtrack, which has topped the Billboard charts, along with the detailed reflection of Korean cultural elements in its direction and humorous dialogue, has led to repeated viewings and ongoing love from the audience.
