Park Chan-wook mentioned a film group he participated in the past.

On the 24th, the tvN talk show 〈You Quiz on the Block〉 featured director Park Chan-wook and actor Lee Byung-hun from the film 〈No Other Choice〉. The two shared stories from their past collaboration on 〈Joint Security Area〉 (2000) to behind-the-scenes insights of their new work 〈No Other Choice〉.

Director Park Chan-wook revealed that he formed a group called 'Pride and Slander' with Bong Joon-ho, Ryoo Seung-wan, Kim Ji-woon, Lim Pil-sung, and Jang Joon-hwan, stating, "We gathered together during tough times, watched our fellow directors' films when they were released, and vented our frustrations by saying, 'How could they not do better than that? I just don't understand. How could they not shoot better than that?'"

Meanwhile, Lee Byung-hun collaborated with director Park Chan-wook for the third time in 〈No Other Choice〉, following 〈Joint Security Area〉 and 〈Three, Monster〉 (2004). The film 〈No Other Choice〉 tells the story of an office worker named 'Mansu' (Lee Byung-hun), who felt satisfied with his life until he was suddenly fired. To protect his wife and two children and to keep the house he worked hard to acquire, he prepares for his own war towards re-employment.

The film 〈No Other Choice〉 was released on the 24th and is currently showing in theaters.
