BTS Jimin Donates 100 Million Won Scholarship to Jeonbuk Education Office

Jimin, a member of the group BTS (real name Park Ji-min), announced on the 25th that he has donated a scholarship of 100 million won to the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Education Office.

According to the Jeonbuk Education Office, Jimin's father conveyed the intention to donate the scholarship over the phone last July, and recently sent 100 million won to the Jeonbuk Education Office Love Scholarship Foundation.

Since 2019, Jimin has been donating 100 million won each year to one selected education office nationwide, starting with the Busan Education Office. This donation to the Jeonbuk Education Office marks his sixth philanthropic activity.

Yoo Jeong-ki, acting superintendent of the Jeonbuk Education Office, expressed gratitude for the warm sharing for the children's future, stating, "The scholarship will be well used for students studying in difficult circumstances."
