Director Kang Yoon-sung's First Domestic AI-Utilized Feature Film 'The Middle Realm' to Be Released on October 15

〈Fine: Country Bumpkins〉, 〈Casino〉, 〈The Outlaws〉 and other well-made works have established Director Kang Yoon-sung as a leading box office director in Korea, and his first domestic AI-utilized feature film 〈The Middle Realm〉 will be released on October 15. 〈The Middle Realm〉 is a chase action blockbuster featuring people trapped in the 'Middle Realm' between the living and the dead, and the grim reapers trying to extinguish their souls, starring Byun Yo-han, Kim Kang-woo, Bang Hyo-rin, Lim Hyung-jun, Yang Se-jong, and Lee Moo-saeng. Meanwhile, Director Kwon Han-seul, who won the Best Film and Audience Award at the 1st Dubai International AI Film Festival in 2024 with 〈One More Pumpkin〉 (2023), is in charge of AI direction.

Director Kang Yoon-sung's 〈The Middle Realm〉 is the first feature film in Korea to utilize AI, presenting a new paradigm in the Korean film industry. Furthermore, it will showcase a unique worldview of the 'Middle Realm' within a runtime of 60 minutes, providing visual enjoyment that has been hard to find until now. A meeting will be held on October 13 at 2 PM at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall, where Director Kang Yoon-sung and actors Byun Yo-han, Kim Kang-woo, Bang Hyo-rin, and Lim Hyung-jun will attend to share various stories, including the production process of utilizing AI.
