Gong Myung, who is active as an ambassador for the international relief and development NGO World Vision (Chairman Jo Myung-hwan), visited a children's care facility located in Bongcheon-dong, Seoul on the 4th to spend a warm time with about 40 children in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

This volunteer activity was organized as a continuation of the 50 million won donation that Ambassador Gong Myung delivered through World Vision for the children's care facility last September. The donation was used to purchase gifts that the children wanted, which were delivered as holiday presents, and it will also be used to remodel the rooftop, which was a lacking rest area in the facility, into a 'rest area' where children can comfortably relax.

Despite his busy filming schedule, Ambassador Gong Myung took the time to participate in the volunteer activity to be with the children. On that day, he made a surprise appearance in front of the children, greeted them, and spent time getting closer through conversation, creating joyful memories by participating in mini games in a recreational format and a one-day class for making songpyeon. He provided the children with warm holiday memories through sincere communication and sharing, going beyond a simple visit.

Gong Myung stated, "I came to create good memories for the children during Chuseok, but I feel like I received memories instead, and it was truly a happy time."

Jo Myung-hwan, Chairman of World Vision, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I thank Ambassador Gong Myung for delivering the precious space of a rest area and holiday gifts to the children despite his busy schedule," adding, "It will be a special holiday that the children will remember for a long time."

Since being appointed as an ambassador for World Vision in 2024, Gong Myung has participated in various sponsorship and volunteer activities for marginalized children and youth both domestically and internationally, and his recent volunteer story in Uganda was revealed through KBS 1TV's 'Love Across the Sea Season 4'.

Meanwhile, Gong Myung met global viewers as the mysterious transfer student Han Yoon-seok in the Netflix movie 'The History of Confession', which was released this summer. He vividly expressed the multifaceted nature of youth in the film, delivering both fresh excitement and deep emotions. This also proved his deepened and broadened acting skills.

Gong Myung, who is establishing his presence as a reliable actor in every work, raises expectations for what other aspects he will showcase in the future.
