Kim Woo-bin revealed the behind-the-scenes of his model debut.
Recently, actor Kim Woo-bin appeared on the YouTube channel 'Fairy Jae-hyung' and shared stories about the behind-the-scenes of his model debut, the reason for his transition to acting, and his latest work 〈Genie, Make A Wish〉. On that day, Kim Woo-bin mentioned his school days and recalled, "Now, I feel a bit more comfortable dealing with strangers as I work a lot, but in the past, I was an extremely introverted person who found it hard to even greet others." He added that due to his extremely passive personality, even his homeroom teacher was surprised when he expressed his dream of becoming a model.
In fact, Kim Woo-bin was known to be a quiet and exemplary student, remembered as 'the brother who studied well' by residents of the same apartment during his middle school years. During high school, it was revealed by netizens that Kim Woo-bin communicated with professors by leaving many questions on the university's website for the model department he wanted to attend. Regarding this, Kim Woo-bin said, "During middle and high school, it was difficult to go to shows in the provinces, and I could only buy and read magazines, so the professors were my only support. So, I left questions like 'What should I do to become a model?' and 'What is the appropriate weight?' for the professors."
Meanwhile, the drama featuring Kim Woo-bin, 〈Genie, Make A Wish〉, is currently streaming on Netflix.
