Lee Do-hyun, Cynthia, and Lee Soo-hyuk Star in 'Grand Galaxy Hotel' Confirmed for Netflix Production

Global streaming platform Netflix announced on the 13th that it will produce the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran) new work 〈Grand Galaxy Hotel〉 as an original series.

On this day, Netflix confirmed Lee Do-hyun, Cynthia, Lee Soo-hyuk, and Lee Soo-hyun as the main cast through an official announcement. The Hong Sisters, who have produced hits such as 〈Sassy Girl Chun-hyang〉 and 〈The Greatest Love〉, will be in charge of the script, while PD Oh Chung-hwan, who directed 〈Start-Up〉 and 〈Melo Movie〉, will take the helm.

This series revolves around Eun-ha (played by Lee Do-hyun), who becomes the new owner of a special hotel that comforts the souls of the dead. The story centers around the meeting with Sang-soon (played by Cynthia), the only human among the hotel staff.

Additionally, the grim reaper Baek-ki (played by Lee Soo-hyuk) who cleans evil spirits and the mysterious woman Seok-san (played by Lee Soo-hyun) join to create a multi-layered narrative.

This work shows a similar setting to the previous collaboration between the Hong Sisters and producer Oh Chung-hwan, 〈Hotel Del Luna〉.

Netflix has not yet announced a specific release schedule for 〈Grand Galaxy Hotel〉.
