The movie 〈Snail Basketball Team〉 starring actor Park Ho-san will be released in Korea this November. 'Snail Basketball Team' is the first film in South Korea to focus on wheelchair basketball, inspired by the true story of the late director Lee Won-woo, known as the 'Fox of the Court', and his disciple Han Sa-hyun, who ruled the court as a national team guard. 〈Snail Basketball Team〉 is a human action story depicting the emotional journey of a former national basketball player who grows into a true leader as he takes on the role of a wheelchair basketball coach.

Actor Park Ho-san, who is active in movies, theater, musicals, and entertainment, plays alongside rookie actor Park Kyung-seo, portraying a basketball star whose life has come to a halt at the peak of his career and a basketball genius with an arrogant attitude, uniting through wheelchair basketball as a man with round steel legs. Actor Seo Ji-seok plays the role of Cha Ji-seok, the center of the basketball team who was a former detective, making his return to the screen after 12 years since 2013. Actor Lee No-ah, who gained attention for the movie 'What Needs to Be Done', and Heo Geon-young from the recently concluded drama 'My Precious Star', along with former martial artist Yook Jin-soo, joined the cast, bringing vibrant game scenes to life through solid acting and seven months of practical training in wheelchair basketball.

Legendary star Woo Ji-won of Korean professional basketball takes on the challenge of acting as the opposing team's coach, and basketball commentator Son Dae-beom makes a special appearance. Notably, players from actual national representative wheelchair basketball teams such as Chuncheon Tigers and Coway Blue Wheels, as well as the longest-standing non-disabled wheelchair basketball team, Yongin University YB team, participated as actors, amplifying the realism of 〈Snail Basketball Team〉.

Wheelchair basketball is a sport that can be played together by both disabled and non-disabled individuals without distinction. The thrill of competing and colliding under equal conditions while rolling wheels within the white court lines is its charm. In short, if Slam Dunk is basketball, then wheelchair basketball is combat. The camera of 〈Snail Basketball Team〉 captures the game scenes vividly and thrillingly, filling the film with entertainment elements.

〈Snail Basketball Team〉 is directed by the mid-career director Ko Eun-ki, who has been invited to international film festivals, following the growth narrative of sports films through the passion of wheelchair basketball team players, while naturally incorporating prejudiced views and social inequality issues surrounding wheelchair basketball.
