The Meeting of the Villainess and the Malicious Chaebol, Lim Ji-yeon X Heo Nam-jun's Drama 'Wonderful New World' to Premiere Next Year

Actors Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun meet in 〈Wonderful New World〉. The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 〈Wonderful New World〉 scheduled to air next year depicts the romance between the astonishing Joseon villainess Shin Se-ri (Lim Ji-yeon) and the malicious chaebol Cha Se-gye (Heo Nam-jun). Lim Ji-yeon challenges a dual role. She transforms into the unnamed actress of Korea, 'Shin Se-ri', possessed by the notorious villainess of Joseon, 'Gang Dan-sim', leading the drama. In the story, 'the woman who shakes the nation', Gang Dan-sim, who was sentenced to death, awakens as the unnamed actress Shin Se-ri in 2026 Korea.

Heo Nam-jun plays the role of the tyrant prince 'Cha Se-gye'. Cha Se-gye is the sole heir of the prominent Cha-il Group, and before him, the woman Shin Se-ri appears in a traditional Korean dress cosplaying from the Joseon era. Heo Nam-jun is expected to showcase a different side based on his wide-ranging acting skills demonstrated in dramas 〈Your Honor〉, 〈The Call〉, and 〈A Hundred Memories〉.
