Jannabi Releases Regular 4th Album Part 2... Presents a Narrative Capturing Music and Life

The group sound Jannabi announced on the 21st that they will release their regular 4th album 'Sound of Music Part 2: Life' (Sound of Music pt.2: LIFE) according to their agency Peponi Music.

This album continues from Part 1, which dealt with the romance of youth, and fittingly presents philosophical narratives and mature emotions under the subtitle 'Life'. The band expressed that they have conveyed the joys and sorrows of life through musical language, containing deeper messages than previous works.

The new album includes a total of 12 tracks, and the members have reflected seriously on 'the reasons for loving music' and 'the reasons for singing about life'. The included songs showcase a thematic consciousness that encompasses the entire journey of life, from the start of each day to the passage of time, youth, love, and aging.

The title track 'Goodbye to First Love-' is a ballad that harmonizes Jannabi's unique lyricism with orchestral sound, depicting the encounter with oneself as an adult within the memories of first love. This song continues Jannabi's emotional musical lineage, leading to 'For Hesitant Lovers' and 'Thoughts on an Autumn Night'.

The album features various tracks, including 'Earth', which depicts the start of daily life with feet on the bed, 'After School Activity', which captures the rebellious spirit of adolescence, and 'Oh, New York City', which describes the youthful ambitions felt in New York.

In particular, collaborative tracks such as 'Jack Kerouac', featuring singer Yang Hee-eun, and 'Mother', with vocals from AKMU's Lee Soo-hyun, are also receiving attention.
