According to the Integrated Ticketing System, 'The Exit 8' attracted 31,969 viewers on its opening day, proving its solid box office momentum. This figure surpasses the opening score of 9,212 viewers for the all-time highest-grossing Japanese live-action film, 'Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight.' At the same time, it exceeded the opening score of 14,146 viewers for 'About a Place in the Kinki Region,' which recorded the highest audience number among Japanese live-action films released in 2025, as well as the opening score of 25,443 viewers for 'Monster,' the highest audience number among Japanese live-action films released since 2023, indicating a new trend in Japanese live-action film box office success.
