Introducing the players of the wheelchair basketball team from the movie 'Snail Basketball Team', which is set to release on November 12. The slow but unstoppable snails include director Park Ho-san, college basketball MVP Park Kyung-seo, former detective and team center Seo Ji-seok, and the team members. Director Ko Eun-ki's film 'Snail Basketball Team' is a human action story that portrays the emotional journey of a former national basketball player who becomes a wheelchair basketball coach and grows into a true leader. Wheelchair basketball is an integrated sport where both disabled and non-disabled players participate together on the court. The intense energy of colliding wheelchairs and the rapid spinning of wheels provides a thrilling experience.

Park Ho-san, a former national team member and basketball star known as the "Fox on the Court", found himself in a situation where no one called him after undergoing brain tumor surgery post-retirement. At that time, he received an offer to coach a wheelchair basketball team from a pharmaceutical company and reluctantly accepted it for the sake of making money, but upon joining the team, he found it in disarray. Angered by the team members' attitudes, which seemed more like a hobby than a profession, he gradually regained his competitive spirit and leadership to start leading the team. He was known as a basketball genius with a basic score of 30 points and 10 rebounds. At 27, he was a promising college basketball MVP, but due to an injury, he could no longer run on the court. As he spent sleepless nights grappling with the clash between his unquenchable desire for basketball and the reality of his frustrations, he met coach Sang-woo and joined the wheelchair basketball team. A rough troublemaker, he is an essential presence for the team in pursuit of victory.

The center of the Snail Basketball Team, Cha Ji-seok (Seo Ji-seok), was a former detective. He sustained a spinal cord injury after being stabbed during a confrontation with a criminal. True to his detective nature, he excels at chasing and intercepting, and as the team captain, he takes good care of his teammates. As seen in the released main trailer, he initially had a cynical attitude, saying, "Who risks their life for a job these days?" but later shows a passion that surpasses anyone else. The forward Gun-young, known more by the name 'Ferrari' than his own, is a former car mechanic. He suffered a lower body paralysis due to a fire accident caused by speeding during a brake test. Now, instead of a car, he navigates the court in a wheelchair. He has a big heart for the team.

Coach Hwa-young is the spiritual support of the Snail Basketball Team, embracing the players' hearts rather than their disabilities. When director Sang-woo faces issues due to a lack of understanding of wheelchair basketball, which is different from professional basketball, or when Choi Myung acts out, he becomes the force that brings the Snail Basketball Team back to the court, even when the team is on the verge of disbandment due to a lack of winning percentage. Additionally, the actors playing Jong-seong, Gil-eun, and Seong-eun in the Snail Basketball Team are actual professionals who play on a wheelchair basketball team. Including Korean basketball star Woo Ji-won, the Chuncheon Tigers, and the Coway Blue Wheels, actual national team players from the disabled wheelchair basketball professional teams, along with the Yongin University YB team, which boasts the longest history among non-disabled wheelchair basketball teams in the country, have participated as actors, creating a sense of reality as if watching a real game.

The relationship between Sang-woo, played by Park Ho-san, and Choi Myung, played by rookie Park Kyung-seo, is inspired by the true story of late director Lee Won-woo and his disciple, director Han Sa-hyun. Seo Ji-seok, who plays captain Cha Ji-seok, is a former track athlete who loved basketball and has showcased his amazing basketball skills on variety shows like 'Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education' and 'Handsome Tigers'. The actors underwent wheelchair basketball training for seven months to recreate the appearances of professional wheelchair basketball players in 'Snail Basketball Team'. The film 'Snail Basketball Team', capturing the relentless competition of the snails, will be released in theaters nationwide on November 12.
